Napier Pakchong Grass
Fast-growing Thai Napier grass, ready to harvest every 45 days.
Napier Pakchong grass originates from the Pak Chong district of Nakhon Ratchasima province, Thailand, and was introduced here by En. Abdul Kadir bin Abdul Majid, founder of Saujana Feedmill & Agro Tech. It offers a more economical forage solution with a fast growth cycle of just 45 days.
The grass can be harvested 6 to 7 times in the first year, and up to 8 times a year from the second year onwards. A single planting can produce 450 to 600 metric tons of feed, enough for 30 head of cattle.
